Do I need a phone with a biometric feature if I use Entry MFA?

Yes, biometrics is an added level of security. When you register your Digital Identity, Entry© MFA will prompt you to ACCEPT the relevant biometric already in use on your device. If you do not use biometrics on your device, you will need to enter your username / email address and password whenever you log in.

 

What if the photo I take of my Identity document, or myself is blurry?

Entry will prompt you to USE PHOTO or RETAKE. You can do this as many times as you need to.

When you take the photographs required, make sure that the photo is in portrait mode, even if the document is in landscape phone is positioned upright.  The relevant document must be positioned so that the information inside is upright and in frame.

When you take a photo of the document/card, check that there is no reflection or glare. If the photo is not clear, the registration does not process.

Retake the photograph if it is unclear or Accept the photograph for registration.  click on ‘Use Photo’ to accept it for registration. When taking the point in time self-portrait photograph (selfie), remove any glasses or coverings that would obscure your face. Keep your phone’s camera at eyelevel, maintain a straight expression and use clear lighting. 

 

Why does it show that my ENTRY MFA registration is unsuccessful?

If any numbers or characters are entered incorrectly into a field during the registration, the application will not be processed. The data input must match the documentation photograph exactly.

Similarly, if the email address used does not exist, or is incorrectly captured, the application will not be processed.

 

Must I log out of Entry MFA and back in every time I want to go on to the online platform?

No, you can remain logged into Entry whether you are online or not. When Entry MFA is inactive it does not log you out, it only closes. Tap on the Entry MFA icon to open the application. Tap on UN-LOCK, the smart device will request a biometric to open Entry MFA again.

 

What if I replace my cell phone?
